HOLLINS MARKET

Borrower:

Noble

Property Type:

Conversion of 2 buildings to a 4 story, mixed-use building

Neighborhood:

Hollins Market neighborhood
Noble bought these two vacant buildings, which were eyesores for a decade. Neighbors shared stories about how the buildings once housed a bakery dating back to the 1860’s. Some neighbors even remember buying pastries there with their grandparents. They’re excited that Noble’s vision of bringing back a bakery to the location will mean they’ll be able to take their own grandchildren there soon.  By restoring the bakery and these two forgotten buildings, Noble is creating jobs and skills training for residents, as well as encouraging others to invest in the neighborhood.
BY RESTORING THE BAKERY AND THESE TWO FORGOTTEN BUILDINGS, NOBLE IS CREATING JOBS AND SKILLS TRAINING FOR RESIDENTS, AS WELL AS ENCOURAGING OTHERS TO INVEST THE NEIGHBORHOOD.
