Nana always had an entrepreneurial drive and knew she wanted to be her own boss. After 10 unfulfilling years in sales, she found inspiration in the book “Rich Dad Poor Dad,” and zeroed in on real estate as her path to wealth.
In 2016, she self-financed her first single-family home in Pittsburgh, refinanced it, and never looked back. Today, she owns 30 properties. By 2025, Nana had quit her sales job to invest full-time. But without W2 income, her long‑time bank would no longer fund her deals.
That’s when our SVP, Ron Manges stepped in. Because we specialize in financing for real estate entrepreneurs and have expertise in understanding unique streams of income and tax treatments, Spring Garden Lending was the perfect match.
Ron and Nana’s first deal together a cash‑out refi of two Pittsburgh homes, and more projects are already underway!

“Seamless” was the first word Nana used to describe Spring Garden Lending. She added, “fast, rates and terms are good, flexible, shorter process and unique products like perm financing. And I like working with Ron. We have similar values—building relationships is important to both of us.”
Ron feels the same: “It was a true joy meeting Nana and working on a project with her…She made our job at SGL much easier!”
