Prior to Spring Garden Lending, Al was a founder and Chairman of Valley Green Bank. Before Valley Green Bank, Al was a principal of Lincoln Benefits Group, a local benefits consulting company. Al has 30 years of banking experience. From 2000 – 2003 he served as the CEO and Director of Panasia Bank, N.A. For the 10 years prior to Panasia Bank, Al held various positions with National Penn Bancshares, Inc. (National Penn Bank) including Director of National Penn Bank, President of the Chestnut Hill National Bank, a division of National Penn Bank, and Executive Vice President of National Penn Bank. He has been an officer, director or trustee of many non-profit corporate boards in Northwest Philadelphia and was a past President of the Board of the Philadelphia Cricket Club.
