David is an investor and the founder and President of Beechwood Property Holdings, a real estate acquisition, development and leasing business. From 1988 until September 2016 he was a lawyer in private practice, most recently a partner for over 20 years with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where his practice focused on representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Issue One, a nonprofit organization which seeks to reduce the role of money in politics. He received his B.A. in American History and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
